* Discovery Information

John Greaves, the United Kingdom; and Nobuo Ohkura, Okayama, Japan, discovered a new variable star MisV1269.

It was picked up by John Greaves from the NSVS data as a possible variable star. Seiichi Yoshida researched the MISAO database and confirmed the long term variation with a period of about 195 days from images taken by Nobuo Ohkura.

John Greaves found it may be variable while researching the NSVS data. Seiichi Yoshida confirmed this is indeed variable, and a new variable star, from images taken by Nobuo Ohkura, and announced it as one of the MISAO Project new variable stars.
