Obtain a catalog
Then obtain a catalog to be added into the database.
Following public catalogs are supported.
For details of each catalog, please read Reference Catalogs.
*1 Obtain four files from table1.dat.gz to table4.dat.gz.

Register into database
Identification database will be constructed in the reference directory under the MISAO home directory.
Here let's see the MISAO home directory is C:\misao for example.
The database will be constructed in the C:\misao\reference directory.
misao.ref.Installer is a software to register the obtained catalog in the identification database.
Run the misao.ref.Installer as follows.
Now you must set the property misao.home as the MISAO home directory's path, using -D option of java command.
java -Dmisao.home=C:\misao misao.ref.Installer

After running the software, the list of supported catalogs is output (letters with underline are examples).

Input a number: 5
Filename of catalog: TmzV.lst
Type:
V: Variable stars
S: Suspicious variable stars
E: Catalog errors
N: Nebulae or clusters
O: Other objects
Type: V
Positional error (arcsec): 5.0
Replace old data? [y/N]: Y
|
Select a number of the obtained catalog.
Then input the filename of the catalog file.
Then input the type of the catalog.
The type is expressed as one character of alphabets.
The list of valid types is output, so select one type.
In principle, input the character described in the catalog list output at first.
For details of types, please read Object types in identification database.
Then input the accuracy of position in the catalog.
In principle, input the position error described in the catalog list output at first.
Finally, the software asks if update the old data or not.
When obtaining the catalog for the first time, input N.
Otherwise, input Y.
After these configurations are done, the software starts to add the catalog into the database.
It will take much time.
It also requires much memory, so set -mx, -oss option of java command properly to avoid "out of memory".
